  • Mood Enhancement: Regular exercise has been linked to improved mood and a reduced risk of depression. 3. Improved Sleep:

There are a few places in Statesboro that should be pointed out when it comes to a place to get a good work out while also being in a great environment. Statesboro has several facilities that offer great memberships, but I just wanted to highlight a few that I think will be great to go to whenever you feel like taking on your fitness journey!

The Rac is a great environment mostly for students who go to Georgia Southern and have a drive for doing physical activities throughout the day. The Rac operates from 6am - 11pm from Monday - Thursday; 6am - 9pm on Friday; 1pm - 11pm on Saturday. If you work at Georgia southern you can also gain access to the Rac's facilities. If you do not either work attend the school unfortunately you cannot buy a membership to the facility.


Another gym in Statesboro that I strongly recommend is 180 fitness. 180 fitness is a wonderful environment filled with hard working members who enjoy their time at the gym. They have a studio, personal training, a circuit room, Group fitness, and even childcare. They also have a huge sauna room that is feels great to be in! A great thing about 180 fitness is that they have 24/7 Key card access!



The last facility in Statesboro that I highly recommend is Planet fitness which is also a favorite of mine. Ultimately, Planet Fitness is well-suited for individuals who are looking for an affordable and judgment-free gym experience, especially those who focus on cardio and basic strength training. However, individuals with specific fitness goals or preferences for advanced equipment may find the offerings limited. It's essential to consider personal fitness needs and preferences before choosing a gym. They offer Affordable memberships, open 24/7, Clean and well-maintained equipment, and even fitness classes.


Honestly- Working out can be for everyone and I think everyone should work out and care about their bodies. You all should check out these facilities if you want to get a good workout in a great environment. I believe everyone should be comfortable while working on their bodies so they can do it at their top performance level. Go to these facilities & You might just find the right environment for you!
